Obtaining high-quality sweet cherry fruits in recent years correlates quite strongly with the degree of adaptability of cultivated varieties, which is determined by the weather and climatic factors of the region. The timing of the passage of the phenological stages of the seasonal development of sweet cherries and their duration in the moderate continental climate of southern Russia have been established. The types of stressors that occur during the period of intensive development of sweet cherry fruit organs and their influence on the productivity of varieties are described. The obtained data showed that the temperature during the development of fruit buds of sweet cherries can vary greatly, so in the phenophase dormant period of fruit buds it was within + 4.4 º (2020) + 2.3 º (2019), respectively and timing were different. Consequently, changes in the temperature regime affect the speed and rate of development of spring phenophases. Against the background of the action of weather stressors, groups of sweet cherry varieties were established, which are most susceptible to the influence of abiotic factors and react with a decrease in yield capacity. Thus, early varieties during the study period had lower productivity compared to medium and late varieties. Among all groups, varieties with stable fruiting even under conditions of stressors were distinguished Alaya, Anons, Dar izobiliya, Volshebnitsa. A correlation has been established between the yield capacity and the abiotic factors that affect its implementation (average monthly temperature during the dormant and flowering periods and the total precipitation in the same phenophases), as well as the temperature factor for the duration of the dormant and flowering periods. Regression analysis revealed the greatest relationship between factors such as yield capacity and average air temperature during the flowering period (R2 = 0.972), the temperature factor did not significantly affect the duration of the phenophases of the dormant and flowering periods (R2 = 0.004; R2 = 0.239, respectively).

Productivity is a complex indicator, consists of several elements biological potential (bouquet twigs, growth shoots, fruit buds) and actual yield (flowers, ovaries and fruits formed). The evaluation of all indicators was carried out according to the methodological recommendations of the Institute "Assessment of the formation and implementation of the productivity of sweet cherry" (NCRRIH&V, 2013). Calculations of generative potential (GP), biological productivity (BP) of fruit shoots, actual productivity (FP) of flowering period and formation of ovaries and fruits were carried out. It is established that main part of the generative potential (the fetal buds) is laid on bouquet branches 67-89%, on the one-year shoot this indicator is much lower 11-33 %. At the same time, the ratio of fruit and growth buds on bouquet branches is 3: 1, on annual shoots 2:1. Cherry varieties are distinguished with a deviation from the average values, the Krasnodarskaya Sladkaya variety has a significant superiority: in 363 fruit-bearing 92 growth buds (4: 1) are on perennial fruit wood. The largest number of fruit buds in relation to growth 197: 65 (3: 1) is noted in a variety of Shaluniay on an annual shoot. Determination of actual productivity (AF) after the flowering period has been showed that on average one fruit bud accounts for 3.0 flowers, ova-ry 1.5, fruit 1.2. On the basis of carried out study, cherry varieties of Kirina, Molodezhnaya, Nefris have been identified, with superior actual productivity indicators of 1.0-1.2 fruits per 1 fruit bud. Respectively, they have a high yield, in comparison with other studied varieties, of 15.0-20,0 kg from one tree. These varieties must be used in breeding programs as sources of productivity.

The results of research of the impact of varietal characteristics and weather conditions for the implementation of the potential productivity of sweet cherries plants are presented. Biological productivity potential of most sweet cherry varieties allows them to receive the high annual yields, which full realization is prevented by insufficient winter hardiness of plants, especially of fruit buds. In the southern zone of the industrial cultivation of sweet cherry in winter period the considerable damage of generative buds is observed at a temperature -24 to 25 C, the critical temperatures minimum for sweet cherry varieties 26,0 C. It is necessary to select the varieties of sweet cherries, capable to form a high resistance to temperature extremes of winter-spring period taking into consideration the climate features of the fruit zone of Krasnodar territory. It is the purpose of our conducted researches. As a result, the critical temperatures are set at different phases of fruit buds development are established. The degree of reduction of the elements of fruiting on the final stages of productivity formation is defined. The group of varieties that can fully realize the biological potential in fruit yield is allocated. The long-term assessment of winter hardiness of trees in the fruit plantings revealed the advantage of sweet cherry varieties of breeding of the North Caucasian Research Institute of Horticulture and Viticulture.

The main parameters determining the biological productivity of sweet cherry varieties that are promising in the Southern zone of horticulture are studied. The comparative estimation of realization degree of the varieties biological potential is given depending on climatic factors. Potential possibilities of cherry varieties productivity are determined and the main factors influencing their realization are revealed at each stage of plant organogenesis. The main type of sweet cherry fruiting is established on shortened fruit formations (bouquet branches) and annual shoot (single fruit buds). In the predominant quantity (71 %) on the cherry trees, bouquet branches are formed. Dependence of age and productivity of each bouquet branch is shown as the age increases, the number of laid fruiting elements (fruit buds) decreases. The most productive (the maximum number of fruit buds are laid) are bouquet branches of one-two-year-old age. On an annual shoot, an almost equal ratio of fruit (54 %) and growth (46 %) buds was noted. The most productive part of the skeletal branch is revealed it is two-three-year-old fruit wood, the main part (63,6 % of the total number of fruit buds) of the cherry harvest is formed on them. We have distinguished the cherry varieties Alaya, Anons, Volshebnica, Melitopol Black, capable of more even distribution of fruiting elements when they are formed on branches of different ages. It is shown that the productivity of cherry directly depends on the number of laid flowers in each fruit bud. In cherry varieties the number of flowers per tree can reach 5, on average one fruit bud lays 2,3-3,3 flowers. As a result of the carried out research, the donors of productivity, combining the high biological productivity with a high degree of its realization, expressed in the productivity of the variety, were selected.
