Anatomo-morphological and physiologically-biochemical study of leaves of different varieties of Hibiscus Syrians in the conditions of summer period are conducted. The varieties, most adapted to the conditions of Krasnodar region, are revealed.
The work purpose is integration of new knowledge about biological features and form diversity of the decorative introduced plants on the example of a Hibiscus Syrian; the development of the agric and technological documentation accompany to the project of a modern small garden with a prevalence of an esthetic component. The novelty of this work is based by the main methodological principle of interdisciplinary approach to the purpose achievement. The article presents the results of complex research of the economic and biological potential of introduced varieties of Hibiscus Syrian; agric-technical recommendations for care of plants; the design concept of the landscape project creation of a small garden with use of Hibiscus Syrian varieties, steady against abiotic factors of the region. The developed elements of plants care as a result complex of research are based on the revealed phenology features of introduced varieties, intensity of growth processes, resistance to diseases and requirements to the level of soil fertility. The study of parametrical characteristics of introduced varieties of Hibiscus Syrian, their decorative traits and economic and biological potential allowed to develop the design concept of the project of a regular garden. The strengthening of a garden esthetic component was provided by accent elements of landscape composition with use of Woodbridge (cv. Woodbrige), Karneus Plenus (cv. Carneus Plenus), Red Hart (cv. Red Heart) varieties and by decorative plants groups with flowers of contrast color and blossoming terms of Duc de Brabant (cv. Duc de Brabant), Rachn Violette (cv. Russian Violet), Spetsiozus (cv. Speciosus). The integrated approach to the decision and an embodiment of a problem of creation of the modern individual project of a small garden provided the expansion of a utilitarian component which is estimated by profitability and functionality of object due to resistance of the used plants to abiotic factors and their durability.
The varieties of roses from different garden groups, perspective to vertical planting of greenery in the central subzone of the Krasnodar region are presented. The basic parameters of biometric indicators of varieties are revealed, the estimation of stability to the main abiotic and biotic zone stress factors is given. Variants of use of varieties for different objects of greenery planting are offered
In the article the stages of realization of design idea of creation of a small garden with elements of the Russian farmstead in the process of reconstruction of an old garden are described (free planning, mix of planting of orna-mental shrubs with berry bushes, shady corners, twisting paths, decorative kitchen garden and other elements of landscape). A main objective of this work is integration of natural scientific knowledge and design and art creative work for creation of design model of a small garden of a certain style orientation in the combination with the biological diversity meeting the main requirements of landscaping design. The basic novelty aspect of the presented work is approach to the reconstructed object as to dynamic system and creation of planning schemes of placement and a combination of landscape fragments. The recommendations stated in the domestic and foreign references, answering the purpose of this development, became the methodical basis for implementation of the present project. In the course of its introduction the main stages are following: natural observing of plots, creation of virtual plans and models, sketches of various landscape zones of the reconstructed garden, selection of color schemes of design objects and also development of the assortment list containing data on quantity and specific structure of plants, natural cycles of their blossoming, etc. The wide purpose of design of the plot compositions for landscape park has been solved thanks to integration of natural scientific knowledge and design and art works of designers. Creative approach to reconstruction of an old garden has been caused by original combinations of fruit and berry crops and ornamental one-year and perennial plants and, besides, by creation of the decorative kitchen garden combining the beauty and advantage - the typical components of the Russian landscape art.
The ability of certain species of plants to take from the soil and to accumulate the microelements, especially of ions of heavy metals, in the various parts has the great importance for cleaning of the land plots polluted by heavy metals, as result of active use of pesticides and agrichemicals. The Paulowniya tomentosa can have value for these purposes. The purpose of research is to estimate the economic and biological potential of Pavlovniya as the bioindicator of degree of soils contamination in the areas of its growing. The analysis of microelements content in the different parts of aulownia tomentosa (Thunb.) Stend.) are conducted for assssment of its economic and biological potential. It is established that Paulownia assists to concentrate in the wood the significant quantities of ions of heavy and rareearth metals Sr, Mn, Ba, Cs etc. The Paulownia in the different periods of vegetation accumulates the different number of microelements. Fresh juicy shoots, leaves and flowers of plant contain the high quantity of iron, especially in the first half of plant's vegetation. The content of zinc is also high in the summer, but in the end of vegetation its quantity falls sharply. The accumulation of these elements in the plant depends from their soil content and biological access. The results of the conducted research testify that the Paulowniya tomentosa can be used as the biological indicator of degree of soil contamination in the places of its growing. Search of the plants capable to participate in a fitoremediation of lands is the one of the perspective directions of modern research in ecology. These research have the search character and testify about need of more detailed studying of potential opportunities of a pavlovniya tomentosa, first of all from the economic point of view.
