This article presents the results of pear breeding with the purpose of creating of new high adaptive varieties that combine the resistance to adverse environment factors and fungal diseases, stable productivity, small size of tree crown, the attractiveness of appearance and good taste of fruits.
The results of long-term economy-biological evaluation of pears varieties on rootstock VA-29 in the conditions of Stavropol region are presented. On the total combination of valuable traits the pears variety-rootstock combinations of different maturing are recommended.
The new plum varieties of NCRRIH&V breeding with economically valuable traits recommended for adaptive technologies of cultivation and breeding are presented in the article.
The main parameters (adaptability, resistance to diseases, self fertility, fruit quality) of cherris varieties of local selection and promising introducents that determine the productivity of plantations are studied. The evaluation of varieties on basic economy biological indicators is conducted and the most promising varieties are allocated. The main directions of cherry selection are shown, donors and sources of valuable traits are allocated.
The main trends of change in the modern assortment of table grapes in the south of Russia are shown. In a long time the decrease of table grapes area of that varieties have seen. Varieties with low attractive berries engaging and adaptive capacity, are disappeared from assortment. Area of table grapes has stabilized in the last 2 years. The priority directions of table grapes creating are shown.
