Research conducted at Anapas ampelo-graphic collection from 2001 to 2010, have allowed to reveal in stressful conditions of the critical low temperatures and drought a number of promising technical grape varieties with useful economic and biological and technological signs and with stability to environmental factors
The results of research on main problems of study of sweet cherry varieties are presented in the article. A series of new varieties of sweet cherries according to a modern standard of intensive orchards and allowing to create conveyor of high-quality fruits of different periods of maturation is recommended.
The varieties and clonal rootstocks of Prunus Domestica were studied in the period of growth and the first years of fruiting of trees in the conditions of Krasnodar region. The most early appearance of fruit, productive, poor growth variety-rootstocks combinations are allocated for use in the intensive technologies of cultivation of Prunus Domestica in the North Caucasus.
Specific displays of abiotic stresses on fruit plants revealed as a result of monitoring in field and controllable conditions are described in this article. The reasons of display of some of them from point of view of physiological and biochemical processes occurring in a plant are designated. The examples of specific display of incompatibility of rootstocks and scions, and influence of rootstocks on intensity of scion development in the winter-spring period are presented. The ways of minimization of the damage from adverse weather conditions to fruit growing are offered.
